November Stuff
Some of the families are working on the November Book Report.
If that's you, would you like a butterfly?
If you forgot all about it, then I hope your next book report is AWESOME! Things seem to have snowballed since October 1st and I understand if its just not gonna happen this week. Please consider doing the next book report listed on the Blue Magnet sheet! lol
I hope you all join us for the Thanksgiving Luncheon Thursday at 11:15. The cost is $3.25 per guest.

November Family Project
Hi Families, just a check in about the next Family Project.
Last week I sent the Family Project Rubric home with homework. I hope that you kept it!
We are studying and writing about Native Georgians (Cherokee) and their celebrations in class. Listed below are a few links that have factual information or video clips showing the Pow-Wows. Check it out.

Character Dress Up Day 2012
We had such a great time on Character Dress Up Day! I was happy to see how well the kids matched books, stories, fables, comics to their character theme. Even the teachers got into the swing of things. We each chose a character from Wizard of Oz. Luckily, I had an old bride's maid dress that worked as Glenda the Good Witch. We had many super heroes, a princess, a lion, a couple normal kids, some fairies, a Monster High girl, a ninja, a King, Little Red Ridinghood, a skeleton, a count (is that the correct spelling?), and Goldielocks.
